If the business rules are clearer and more predictable, they can, at the same time, meet mutual interests of energy exporting countries. In fact, globalization of energy trading has increased the importance of its role in economic relations between countries through the international investment, deregulation of domestic markets of countries, and a new connection between the area of energy in different countries and the political economy in the world. The present study is descriptive and explores international energy rules as well as energy trade multilateral system and tries to determine whether energy products are different from other products and require certain trade rules. It also examines the obstacles to making regulations in the area of trade and energy taking into account characteristics of different kinds of energy. توسعۀ اقتصادی و تجارت بین‌المللی، به شکل‌گیری یک نظام اقتصادی به هم وابستۀ جهانی انجامید که هم­اکنون با توجه به پیشرفت جوامع بشری و نیازهای اساسی مردم، درحال تبدیل شدن به نظام واحد جهانی است؛ و در این میان، نهادهای بین­المللی نقش فراوانی را ایفا کرده­اند. اگر قوانین تجاری شفاف­ و قابل پیش­بینی باشند، می­تواند هم­زمان منافع کشورهای واردکننده و صادرکنندۀ انرژی را تأمین کند. درواقع، جهانی شدن تجارت انرژی به‌ واسطۀ سرمایه‌گذاری­­های بین‌المللی، مقررات­زدایی در بازارهای داخلی کشورها و ارتباط نوینِ بخش انرژی کشورها با اقتصاد سیاسی جهان، موجب افزایش اهمیت و جایگاه آن در روابط اقتصادی میان کشورها شده است.  مقالۀ پیش­رو، بیانگر گسترش پوشش نظام چندجانبۀ تجارت جهانی، ایجاد سازمان جهانی تجارت و تغییر و تحول در ماهیت تجارت محصولات انرژی در جهان است و کوشیده تا مشخص کند آیا محصولات انرژی متفاوت از دیگر محصولات هستند و نیاز به قوانین خاص تجارتی دارند؟ همچنین موانع وضع مقررات در تجارت انرژیِ سازمان تجارت جهانی را با توجه به ویژگی­های انواع مختلف انرژی بررسی ­کند. https://jrels.ut.ac.ir/article_80887_b0de1b7fa0f9875ba41aa11ab103bc3f.pdf
